ANGELES CITY — Local businessmen have asked Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan to reduce the executive budget for 2013, saying it should be based on the actual collections of the city for 2011 and not on the estimated revenues from permits and licenses.

In a letter dated December 21, local businessmen advised the City Government “to moderate the budget for 2013 for the said item (business taxes and licenses) to the 2011 actual collection figure of P249 million.”
