STA. RITA — Residents of this town started the traditional dawn masses Sunday morning with the launching of its 3rd Suman Festival in a bid to preserve local food traditions and promote local tourism.

Mayor Yolanda Pineda said 10 kubols (huts) from the town’s 10 barangays exhibited their own native versions of the delicacy “suman” in front of the Sta. Rita de Cascia Parish.
