ARAYAT — Residents in Barangay Cupang here lauded the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for funding the construction of a slope protection for the Cupang section of the Arayat-Apalit setback levee.

DPWH executives recently said that the project was given a P124-million budget to jumpstart the implementation, after it was awarded to LR Tiqui Construction.
