WHEN I was young, I heard some folks say that Christmas would be postponed due to life’s difficulties. I can still hear the same from some today.

With an innocent mind then, I believed those who said that the birth of Christ would not push through, until I got my new things bought by my parents and gave them to me as yuletide presents. We came not from an opulent family but I was lucky enough to have at least a new pair of clothes every Christmas.
