THE crowd was there. Or, metaphorically, the sea of people that flocked to the San Pedro Calungsod thanksgiving mass site at South Road Properties (SRP), a place that, geographically, is facing the sea.
They were people mostly from Cebu’s various parishes—men, women, young, old—who endured the noon heat and later savored the sight of the fireworks display in the cool evening. All in the name of a new saint.
